Those of a certain age are going to be very excited by this -and then will probably be very disappointed once the full thing hits the cinema). The first trailer for Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles 2: Out of the Shadows has just landed, and it sees the return of some of the cartoon and comic books' most-loved characters.

So as well as hockey-masked vigilante Casey Jones (played by Arrow's Stephen Amell), we're also seeing mutated enemies Bebop (Gary Anthony Williams) and Rocksteady (Stephen Farrelly) make their big screen debuts. (An no, I'm not counting the appearance of the two creatures that appear alongside Vanilla Ice in the 90s era sequel.)

Megan Fox, Will Arnett and William Fichtner are all set to come back to their roles. And there's of course the now de-rigueur space portal threatening New York City. Colourful and stupid then which should be enough, really – I mean, it's the bloody turtles, not Shakespeare. So long as there's mutants and a bit of fisticuffs, it can't disappoint too much, right?
