With all the talk of new flagship smartphones, it’s easy to forget that we’re also in line meet a new tablet or two at MWC. Tipsters have just discovered a couple of mysterious new devices, which are believed to be the 9.7-inch and 8-inch versions of the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3. Pumped yet? Wait until you hear this.
Codenamed SM-T819 and the SM-T719, they’re expected to land in Barcelona later this month, with each model packing a 2,048 x 1,536 display, 3GB of RAM, and an 8-megapixel camera. Unfortunately, these specs are exactly the same on the Galaxy Tab S2, which came out last year.
The only difference with the new models will apparently in the processor department, with the Tab S3 rumoured to run on a Snapdragon 652, as opposed to the Exynos 7 of the Galaxy Tab S2. Somebody hold me down. [SlashGear]
