Huge news, people. A fresh announcement suggests that the much-rumoured LG G5 is indeed being prepared for launch. I know, it’s almost like the tech industry is predictable.
The South Korean firm apparently can’t be bothered going through the motions of wrapping the G5 in pseudo-mystery, and has already revealed the upcoming handset’s official Quick Cover case. Like HTC’s Dot View cases, you can see through the front panel of LG’s creation, which is made from a special mesh that allows you to poke and swipe at the screen without actually flipping the case open.
There’s a little window towards the top too, which lets you peek at the time, incoming calls and notifications. This cut-out has added weight to rumours that the LG G5 will feature an always-on display. Previous gossip suggests the handset will feature a metal chassis, a 5.6-inch, QHD display, a Snapdragon 820 processor, a 21-megapixel rear camera and an 8-megapixel selfie sensor.
