The New 4-inch iPhone Will Reportedly go on Sale on March 18th

According to weekend reports, the heavily-rumoured and horrifically-named iPhone 5se will go on sale on 18th March, alongside the iPad Air 3. With the launch event tipped for March 15th, this represents an unusual move for the company, which normally sends its products to market a couple of weeks after launch.

The 5se -- which surely has a sexier real name -- is expected to be a 4-inch number that’s essentially a cross between the iPhone 5S and iPhone 6S. Though it will look a lot like the 2013 model, it’s likely to feature the A9 and M9 processors, similar camera credentials as the iPhone 6, NFC and support for always-on Siri activation. It'll apparently be available in space grey, silver, gold and rose gold, but blue and pink options have also been rumoured.

And the iPad Air 3? That represents a slightly less interesting move from Apple. It'll essentially be a 9.7-inch of the iPad Pro, complete with support for the Apple Pencil. [9to5Mac]
