EE TV Intros Expiry-Free Recordings To Go

By Gizmodo UK on at

EE is set to take its TV service to a new level with Recordings To Go, a new feature that doesn't take a lot to get your head around. It lets you to transfer lovely TV shows and movies from your EE TV box straight to your mobile or tablet, allowing you to binge-watch when you’re out and about, even when you don't have an internet connection.

So how does it work? First you’ll need to download the free EE TV app to your mobile or tablet and pair it with your EE TV box. You’ll then need to pick your program or series of choice, wait for it to be recorded to your box and then download it to your phone. If this all sounds very familiar, it's because Sky Q offers a similar feature.

The best thing about Recordings To Go is that all the stuff you decide to smuggle into your handset are expiry-free, meaning you're under no pressure to lap up all your favourite shows within seven days or a month. Kevin Bacon knows what's right. [PocketLint]
