These retailers just can’t help themselves can they? Oppomart has pretty carelessly posted all the important details of Huawei’s upcoming P9 family online. Good news for consumers, not so great for Huawei, which has its big reveal scheduled for April 6th. As expected, there’ll be three versions of the smartphone: the P9, the P9 Max and the P9 Lite.
The super-sized model, listed at $699 (£490), features a finger-stretching 6.2-inch, QHD display, a 12-megapixel dual camera, a 3000mAh battery, a 2GHz Kirin 955 octa-core processor and 4GB of RAM.
The regular P9, meanwhile, is up for $499 (£350), and squeezes in a 5.2-inch, Full HD display and 2GHz Kirin 950 octa-core processor with 3GB of RAM. Like its big brother, it will also pack a 12-megapixel dual camera setup around the back, and hefty 3,000mAh battery.
Finally, we have the $299 (£210) P9 Lite. It will land with a 5-inch, Full HD display and that same 12-megapixel dual camera, but will run on a 1.5GHz Snapdragon 650 processor paired with 2GB of RAM. The battery will be downgraded to a 2,500mAh number too.
Several pictures of the P9 have been in circulation for some time too, meaning that -- unless Huawei’s got an ace up its sleeve -- the cat is well and truly out of the bag. [AndroidAuthority]
