With the launch of the iPhone SE less than a week away, fresh snaps of a handset claimed to be Apple’s new 4-inch smartphone are making the rounds online. The images are clear, and show off a device that looks polished enough to be the real deal.
However, there seems to be an issue with colour. As you can see, the purported new shade of rose gold is rather different to the one that Apple fans have grown used to, leading to speculation that the company's tinkered with the formula. So what’s going on? We have several possible explanation:
- Rose gold’s going through a dramatic identity crisis
- It’s not actually rose gold at all -- this baby’s burnt orange
- It’s all fake bullshit, you idiot
Whatever the case, the real deal is expected to appear alongside the 9.7-inch iPad Pro and a bunch of new Apple Watch straps next week, before hitting the shelves on March 25th. Check out our iPhone SE rumour round-up for all the juicy goss. [Beeep via Telegraph]
