Jeremy Clarkson's Amazon Prime Car Show Will Air This Autumn

James May has revealed a vague launch date for the new Clarkson-fronted, still-nameless Amazon car show, saying that it will hit Amazon Prime at some point in autumn. “The Autumn, or fall if you’re in the US,” he told a user during a Reddit AMA this week. “That’s as specific as I can be.”

Top Gear, meanwhile, is set to return to our TV screens on May 8th. It’s a shame that the two shows won’t compete with each other directly, given the bad blood between the BBC and its former golden boys, but we’re all pretty excited regardless.

Earlier this month, fan-shot footage showed the trio driving a modified Mercedes around Cobham, with Clarkson in particular looking rather pink in the face. It's an eye-catching new look that was developed -- at least partly -- in Barbados, where the team was pictured filming last month, alongside gutted car shells and a crane. Same formula then.
