Pornhub Now Lets You Choose Porn With Emoji

Sometimes, you can’t be bothered wasting precious time browsing through pages of online porn to find the perfect video. Sometimes, you just want someone (or something) to do it for you.

Enter “Emoji 4 Porn”, a new service launched today by Pornhub. It’s exactly what it sounds like: send an emoji, get back some porn.

If you’re in the United States, simply text one of the emoji above to 1-646-760-PORN (7676). UK residents can text +44740392PORN and Canadians can use 1-855-668-PORN. Using a different phone number, the service will text you back a link to a a random featured video from the category that matches the emoji. There are 30 emoji to choose from, as well as six “secret Easter eggs to discover”. (There are 1,620 emoji to choose from in iOS, so good luck finding those ones.)

I am a boring straight woman, so naturally I tried the eggplant emoji first:

I got back a link to a nice little video called “Cayenne Klein’s butt fucked deep by huge dick”. Success!

The other categories generally function the same way. I also tried out the mature and hentai categories and got, well, exactly what I asked for. The “funny” video, alas, was just normal porn.

While it’s more of a gimmick than anything and probably won’t replace the average person’s normal porn browsing habits, it is a neat trick to pull out if you’re bored. “The purpose of this is to make it more convenient to get personalised adult content,” Corey Price, Pornhub’s vice president, told Gizmodo. In other words, it’s great for the lazy porn addict.

Or, you know, it's also good if you’re totally stoned today for 4/20 and feel like trying out the porn version of a roulette wheel. When asked whether the service intentionally launched on this international day of cannabis celebration, Pornhub vice president Corey Price told us it was “entirely coincidental”.

“But if the service helps some of our users to easier find content while they’re celebrating, then all the better,” he added.
