Blizzard Attempts Overwatch Porn-Sharing Crackdown

By Gary Cutlack on at

A man who enjoys spending his time using video game assets to make DIY porn has apparently been told to desist being such a weirdo by Blizzard, with the publisher of Overwatch asking internet porn linchpin Pornhub to remove videos featuring reworked naked versions of its gaming assets.

The news comes via a Reddit thread started by the man in question, who even supplied this screenshot of the pull request he received from Pornhub, which shows that Blizzard is using the old copyright excuse to have Overwatch material pulled from the site.

In his defence, he says that he's sort of only tracing over Blizzard's original ladies to make his naked versions, adding: "...if you enjoy this type of content or any other Blizzard related content then people need to tell Blizzard to stop policing the web; picking and choosing which content they want people to see."
