Professional Fingerboarder is a Real Job

By Andrew Liszewski on at

Remember those tiny Tech Deck skateboards you used to play with in school? Mike Schneider, and hundreds of thousands of others, never stopped. In fact, at the age of 23, Schneider has managed to make a career out of tiny skateboards with his own company that manufactures professional-grade fingerboards.

There are even fingerboarding competitions that professionals can compete in, and the sport has apparently risen to far more than just a hobby for some of these athletes. And at nearly £50 for a miniature FlatFace Fingerboards deck all kitted out, it’s easy to see how Schneider has turned this into a full-time job. [YouTube via Hypebeast]
