Though 2012 (and subsequently 2013 and 2014) was the original ‘Year of 4K’, those super-sharp TVs we’ve been lusting after since the days 'Gangnam Style' and 'Call Me Maybe' dominated the charts are only now becoming mainstream. Unfortunately, even if you do own a 4K telly, it can be unreasonably tricky to track down any 4K movies and shows to do its lovely screen any justice. Even Sky Q, which uses 4K as its main selling point -- hasn’t launched its 4K channels yet.
Which is why we’re pleased to present ‘What can I watch in 4K?’ a new tool created by Currys PC World that makes it easy to find 4K TV, films and random clips on Netflix, Amazon Prime Video and YouTube. All you need to do is select your streaming service of choice, pick whichever content type suits you and work those beautiful eyeballs and fingers of yours.
We’re not totally convinced about how extensive its YouTube selection is, but for Netflix and Amazon it’s a sure-fire winner.
