Yes, that’s a 7. Or should that be a Z? Hmm. An official-looking invitation for an August 2nd Galaxy unpacked event has been snapped, suggesting the Galaxy Note 7 isn’t far off, and also that Samsung can’t count. What happened to the Note 6, eh?
The South Korean giant’s expected to unveil two variants of the phablet this summer, one with a curved display and the other with a flat one. The flashier model will most likely have dual curved edges, though a separate leak -- complete with lame promotional caption -- doesn’t give a great deal away.
Early rumours suggest the new Notes will each feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display and a Qualcomm Snapdragon 823 or Exynos octa-core processor paired with an eye-watering 6GB of RAM. Word on the street is that a massive 4,000mAh battery will provide the power, with a 12-megapixel primary camera putting it on an even keel (at least in terms of numbers) with the Galaxy S7.
