Samsung Galaxy Note 7 to Sub Fingerprint Sensor for Eyeball Scanner

Fresh reports claim that you’ll be able to unlock the upcoming Samsung Galaxy Note 7 with a quick flash of your balls. The ones embedded in your face, of course.

The South Korean company’s next phablet is expected to feature an iris scanner, which could prove a bit annoying if you’re one of those people who sometimes stares at objects when your mind goes blank. On the other hand, it sounds fancy, and people will pay extra for fancy, despite the fact that well-made fingerprint sensors, which aren’t quite as fancy anymore, are still pretty damn great.

According to Evan Blass, the Note 7 will also feature a 5.7-inch QHD display, 64GB of expandable storage and a 12-megapixel dual camera setup. A 5-megapixel sensor is expected to sit around the front, while the phone should also be IP68-certified and available in black, silver and blue options.

Let’s all shed a tear for the Note 6, the phablet the world forgot. [Mashable]
