Jurassic World 2 'Ancient Futures' to be Filmed in the UK

I don’t care what the critics said about Jurassic World, I loved it because I’m that kid who sketched pictures of dinosaurs all day and read dinosaur fact books well past my bedtime. I still re-enact the scene when Alan Grant sees the brachiosaurus for the first time when I'm wearing a pair of sunglasses.

So today I'm excited. The working title for the blockbuster's follow-up, Jurassic World 2, has been revealed as Ancient Futures. That won’t be the final name of the film, just a little something for us fans to latch onto early on.

It’s also been revealed that parts of it will be shot in the UK. While that doesn’t mean the film will be set here in Blighty, it’s enough to get our hopes up. Imagine a T-Rex waking up in Burnley. The poor thing would be terrified of the locals. Even the Velociraptors would cower.

Jurassic World 2 is to be directed by J A Bayona, and will roar into cinemas in the summer of 2018.  Chris Pratt and Bryce Dallas Howard will both return, though my heart will always yearn for the originals. [JurassicOutpost, ProductionWeekly via Den of Geek]
