HP's New Sure View Screens Make it Easier to Watch Porn in Public

You’ve spent hours hunched over your laptop in your local independent coffee shop, struggling through that pesky first page of your breakthrough novel. Is it really too early to kill someone off? God, this is the toughest decision you've ever had to make. You need a break, you need to clear your mind, you need to stimulate your senses with some smut.

Unfortunately, your phone’s dead, taking your laptop into the bogs is unbecoming, and you can’t get a decent connection in there anyway. If only there was a way of preventing the judgmental eyes sat around you from seeing your screen.

HP’s Sure View display is a game-changer. If you’ve always dreamed of firing up Pornhub in public, anyway.

According to HP, you can only clearly see what’s on-screen when you face the Sure View display front-on (just make sure nobody's sat directly behind you), as it prevents light from shooting off to the sides. Ideal if you’re watching dodgy stuff or live-blogging the vicious argument between the couple on the table to your right.

You can enable and disable the feature with the push of a button, so there’s no reason you won’t have decent viewing angles when you come to watching slight more family-friendly content with your parents. Sure View is set to feature on the the EliteBook 1040 and EliteBook 840 from next month. [Verge]
