Well, September’s going to be busy month. The excellent Oculus Rift, at last, comes to UK stores on September 20th.
If you’ve already managed to champ right through your bit in excitement, you can get your order it now through a number of retailers, including Amazon, John Lewis, Curry’s PC World, GAME and Harrods. The long-awaited virtual reality headset has an RRP of £549 -- so look out for mark-ups -- and each unit comes bundled with a copy of Lucky’s Tale.
If you haven’t yet managed to try out the headset and aren’t especially keen to splash your cash on the unknown, Oculus and Facebook say they're bringing Rift demos to stores across the UK in the coming weeks. Spending your Friday evening gurning down your local electronics shop has never sounded so tempting.
Demo titles include The Climb, Henry, Farlands and Oculus Dreamdeck, and you can book one in through Oculus Live.
