This Christmas, cinemas are going to be swarming with sci-fi fans waiting to catch the latest big-budget space blockbuster. And then after they've watched Star Wars: Rogue One, maybe they'll go and see Passengers too.
The first trailer has hit today - after a long period of silence about the film from the people making it.
The film tells the story of two people stranded in space after the on-board sleep chambers malfunctions and wakes up Chris Pratt and Jennifer Lawrence 90 years too early for their destination. Basically imagine a slightly sexed up version of Red Dwarf and it looks as though you won't be too far off. There's even small robots that are not unlike Scutters. Though as yet, there's no details on whether Chris Pratt was found as a baby under a pool table in a Liverpool pub.
Directed by Morten Tyldum of Imitation Game fame, it's due to hit British cinemas on the 23rd December.
