Doctor Strange UK Release Moved Forward To October 25th

Great news for British Marvel fans - we're getting Doctor Strange three days earlier than we expected.

The film had originally be slated for October 28th, and our theory is that executives wanted to give the film some more Blockbuster breathing room for a PR blitz ahead of Fantastic Beasts and Where to Find Them on November 18th.

The film is set to tell the story of Stephen Strange (Benedict Cumberbatch) - a surgeon who develops magical powers. The film is expected to be the first Marvel Cinematic Universe film to truly embrace magic as a concept, versus the pseudo-science we've seen with the likes of Hulk and Thor.

It'll be interesting to see if Cumberbatch will be able to handle playing a character who is cold, aloof and slightly eccentric...
