The man behind the Pokemon Company clearly has some inside knowledge about the future of Nintendo, as whatever form the company's NX takes you can bet your life there's going to be Pokemon on it all the time. And Pokemon Company boss Tsunekazu Ishihara has all but confirmed the previous thinking that the NX is indeed one machine that combines home and portable play.
Speaking to the Wall Street Journal, Ishihara said of the currently formless machine: "The NX is trying to change the concept of what it means to be a home console device or a handheld device," which perfectly ties in with the myriad rumours surrounding Nintendo's next console.
Which might be an amazing thing that changes the rules of gaming and has even your mum wanting one like the original Wii, or a nightmare of docking stations, proprietary chargers and cables. We'll have to wait and see. [WSJ via Den of Geek]
