Teenage Terror Suing Parents Over Facebook Baby Photos

By Aatif Sulleyman on at

Boo-hoo, unnamed (for legal reasons) Austrian teenager, boo-fricking-hoo. An 18-year-old terror is taking her parents to court, because they keep posting ever-so-slightly embarrassing pictures of her as a baby on Facebook.

She claims the images are making her life unbearable, and isn’t that a funny thought? Back in my day, etc. etc.

“They knew no shame and no limit -- and didn’t care whether it was a picture of me sitting on the toilet or lying naked in my cot -- every stage was photographed and then made public,” she’s reported to have told Die Ganze Woche. “I'm tired of not being taken seriously by my parents.”

I’m not sure how much this is going to help.

The nightmare kid’s poor parents, meanwhile, are standing their ground. “I consider it my right to be able to publish these photos,” said her father. “After all this is our child, and it is a lovely family album for my wife and me.”

The ludicrous legal showdown is set to take place in November. Can we just reset the world? [MailOnline, ITV]
