The Pollockocopter Needs Little Explanation

By Aatif Sulleyman on at

Having spent the last half an hour or so getting really quite riled up about the great fraud that is modern art, the Pollockocopter was probably the last thing I needed to see.

It’s a quadcopter that launches water balloons filled with paint at big walls, and it admittedly looks quite fun. Though those trendy, good-for-nothing urban types that are intent on cheapening everything seem to be suggesting it’s an artist, which it bloody well isn’t. It’s a game, alright?

Jackson, the great(?) paint-flinger himself would be immensely proud. If you want to see the Pollockocopter up close and personal, wrap yourself up in a bin bag and head over to the Reeperbahn Festival in Hamburg, Germany. [UrbanShit via CityLab]
