Carphone's ID Mobile Does 4G for £6 a Month

By Gary Cutlack on at

Carphone Warehouse's offshoot ID Mobile thinks it has a deal you people might be interested in, with a new 4G contract on offer that starts at just £6 a month.

Of course, there are limits to this entry-level option. It comes with comes with 150 calling minutes so is only really good for anti-social people [tick], 5,000 SMS messages, but only a 250MB data allowance. Which makes a bit of a mockery of the entire concept of 4G, but there you go.

They're even bunging in a literally terrible phone with the deal if you agree to take out a monthly contract, with ID Mobile’s super cheap ShockProof plan coming with an Alcatel Pixi 4 phone. ID uses the Three network to provide its mobile connectivity, so if you get a good Three signal it's an option. [ID Mobile]
