Chrome's Experimental Browser Has Arrived on Android

By Tom Pritchard on at

If you want to try the latest Chrome features, you no longer have to glue yourself to a desktop. Google just started offering the experimental Chrome Canary browser on Android.

Canary is the place where Google debuts all the latest features that may, or may not make it to stable versions of Chrome in the future. New features will be published every weekday, ready for you to try out away from your desk. The key thing to remember, however, is that these features are completely untested. So some of them might not work the way they're supposed to.

Luckily Google will prioritise any major problems that arise, to make sure that the the browser stays fully functional. It also doesn't mean you have to ditch your old web browser. You can still use the stable Chrome releases, and mess around with Canary on the side. [Google via Engadget]
