Old men everywhere, beware of tasteless, meddling, creative young things. Ad agency Wieden + Kennedy has teamed up with KFC to give The Colonel the creepy makeover absolutely nobody asked for.
Apparently they’ve tried to make the Colonel... ‘sexy’ by sticking a pair of hip glasses on Vincent Kartheiser’s baby-smooth face and spraying his hair white. It’ll make those buckets of deep-fried bird taste so much sweeter.
Kartheiser seems pretty pleased with himself, plugging the chain’s new Nashville Hot Chicken menu item in a cracking press release quote. “Like KFC's Nashville Hot Chicken, I'm a bit of a rebel decked out in authentic Nashville flavor,” he says, describing his new look as “a perfect combination of classic and cool.”
