Louis Theroux's My Scientology Movie Hits the Torrents Ahead of Big Screen Run

By Gary Cutlack on at

If you want a return to a bit more of a lighthearted Louis Theroux after the grim horrors of his revisit to the nightmare world of Jimmy Savile, your luck's in. HisĀ My Scientology Movie has somehow ended up on the torrent sites a few day ahead of its planned limited cinema run.

Rather embarrassingly, it's a high quality 720p version of the film that's sitting there on your favourite Pirate Bay proxy right now, a film that's supposed to be shown for the first time in the UK in cinemas at the end of this week.

It was funded by the BBC, though, so if you live here and pay the license fee you might feel a bit less bad about stealing it off the internet, as you sort of paid for it anyway and can look at it as an advance preview of something you'd have watched on BBC2 at some point in the future anyway.
