Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has announced that the Northern line will join the Night Tube on November 18th, confirming what Tube staff told the BBC's Tom Edwards last month.
The service will run from High Barnet and Edgware to Morden via Charing Cross, and will be packed mainly with tourists and those headache-inducing theatre lovers that never seem to be in control of their hands or the volume of their speech.
The Bank branch misses out on the Night Tube treatment, but there’s no need to be glum. The 24-hour Jubilee line service is set to begin tonight, with the Piccadilly line set to join the fold later this year.
"There was a real buzz from when we launched the first Night Tube services in August, and I am delighted that the Jubilee Line services are now up and running," said Khan. "Being from Tooting, I'm also really looking forward to the start of services on the Northern line next month."
