Every Samsung Galaxy Note 7 owner on the planet must now know that the phone is potentially dangerous and should be switched off and returned immediately. Unfortunately, getting yourself a refund by returning the handset could prove rather tricky.
Royal Mail is refusing to deliver Note 7s through its network, despite Samsung issuing special fireproof boxes for safe transportation. The delivery ban also applies to Parcelforce UK and Royal Mail’s international courier service.
“In light of recent incidents and concerns raised by Samsung about its Galaxy Note 7, Royal Mail and Parcelforce are unable to accept the posting [of the handsets],”, Royal Mail told Bloomberg. “All customers are asked to detail what is in each package so that we can make sure that we are not carrying items that are hazardous.”
What a time to be a competitor. Anyone own a decent drone? [Bloomberg]
