Last week marked the triumphant return to our screens of Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May - courtesy of Amazon's enormous bags of cash. The first episode, which we reviewed here, saw the #lads set up their tent in the Californian desert. Episode two, however, is heading below the equator - and going all the way to Johannesburg to what Amazon's publicity material calls "The Cradle of Humankind".
That's not all though, as the main film in the episode appears to be a trip to a secret military training base in Jordan, where the presenters are trained to become special forces soldiers. Presumably it is somehow related to cars.
Finally, the car on the test track this week is the 800 horsepower Aston Martin Vulcan, and apparently James May has also made a film looking into a new form of motorsport called "Spinning". Presumably that refers to this sort of thing which was covered by Vice, which takes place in Soweto, on the outskirts of Jo'Burg.
