Iron Man's Latest Suit of Armour Makes for an Amazing Action Figure

Tony Stark got an angular, updated look when Invincible Iron Man kicked off the “All-New, All-Different” Marvel universe last year—and while it looks pretty neat in the pages of the comics, it looks even better as an action figure.

The suit, dubbed the “Shape Changing Armor”—or Model 51 in Tony’s arsenal—is the subject of the latest in Sentinel’s line of “Re:Edit” Iron Man toys. Clocking in at just over 7" tall, the fully articulated figure features LEDs in the helmet and chest that light up like Tony’s ready to take flight.

On top of that, aside from different hands to make the figure look like its flying (or firing off a repulsor blast), or ready for a fistfight, the suit also comes with a small display base to make it look like its part of the hall of armour, and blaster accessories that basically give Iron Man his own wrist-mounted laser swords.

Sadly, there’s a pretty hefty price to pay for such an awesome toy. When it comes out in Japan in January, it’ll set you back around $195/£157. Ouch. [Toyark]
