Sports Star Participates in School Security Demo, Porn Pops up, Kids Get Blamed

By Gary Cutlack on at

Rugby league and occasional NFL star Jarryd Hayne entirely embarrassed himself when taking part in a mobile security presentation at a school, when porn images apparently from his phone accidentally made it to the display screen.

There seems to be some confusion as to whose porn was projected up there. Hayne was taking part in a demo that showed how hackers might use a Wi-Fi network to spy on the internet activity of a mobile user, and was asked to start browsing on his device so the man from Norton could show how hackers can sniff out data.

Hayne quite seamlessly moved into Pornhub territory, causing large preview thumbnails of the site's content to hit the screen. The children, the poor, poor children, the children who will never be the same again now, sounded genuinely shocked at this point, although the man from Norton quickly blamed one of the kids for joining the network at precisely the right time to make it look like the porn belonged to Hayne. Hmm. See for yourselves:

Hayne seems to be sticking with blaming the kids too, with his spokesperson saying the porn definitely came from the phones of one of the children in the audience. [7 News]
