Sky TV Has Got You Some Virtual Box Sets for Christmas

By Gary Cutlack on at

Sky would like people with subscriptions to its TV services to think they're about to get something for nothing this Christmas, as an array of its box set content will be made available for everyone to stream endlessly from Christmas Eve.

The promotion will hand out three months worth of free access to the Sky Box Sets department from December 24, when SD-only versions of its massive US TV collection archives will magically open up for viewing by anyone with a Sky Q or Sky+ that's linked to a router to enable on-demand content access.

Oh but boo hoo you already subscribe to Sky Box Sets? In that case, the satellite broadcaster is sending out a Sky Store Buy & Keep voucher that existing Box Set users can use to buy a standalone film as a digital download instead. And so 2016 ends on a sensational high.
