Good news! After spending six weeks in a tent, Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May are finally going on a full-sized grand tour - in two special episodes that follow a road trip across Namibia.
According to Amazon's publicity for episode 7, the trip is premised around producer Andy Wilman claiming that beach buggies are terrible, and the presenters (inevitably) disagreeing. Apparently they'll be building buggies to their own specifications before setting off.
In a first for the series, the trip takes place across two episodes. In the second episode, having left the desert the trio move on to the Namibian bush - and Clarkson experiences engine troubles. They also take part in some rhino conservation - and hit upon "an unusual and potentially perilous way to reach their finish point".
It'll be interesting to see if Episode 7 manages to capture the magic of the Top Gear road trips that fans have been craving - or whether these specials also remain as awkward and scripted as the rest of the Grand Tour so far.
Episode 7 hits Amazon Prime Video tomorrow - and episode 8 on Friday next week, as usual.
