David Bowie Must've Been Good as They're Doing Him in Stamps

By Gary Cutlack on at

The Royal Mail clearly takes a while to get things done, as it's just revealed a plan to launch a series of stamps featuring David Bowie -- the man who even innovated in death by kicking off 2016's celebrity apocalypse just over a year ago.

Uniquely for a person other than the Queen, Bowie's getting the entire series to himself. The 10 stamps will feature some of his most well known imagery and personas, with the collection including six album covers from Hunky Dory to Blackstar, and four pictures of him in character on stage as Ziggy Stardust and the blonde normal man he played in later life.

If you've got lots of money to buy collectable things in cases there's also a framed stamp for £79.99, presentation packs and more. They'll be ready for licking on March 14. [Royal Mail]
