New Series of New Top Gear Details and Start Date - Looks Like Chris Evans Won't Be Missed

Top Gear is back, baby - and there's no sign of a Chris Evans-shaped hole as Matt LeBlanc, Chris Harris and Rory Reid prepare to take the wheel for the new seven-part series.

They'll be joined by pro driver Sabine Schmitz, F1 expert Eddie Jordan, and of course the infamous Stig - as well as a wealth of celebs ready to prove their skills on the test track.

The 24th series will see the hosts journey across the wild wild West in convertible supercars, push some old bangers to their limits in Kazakhstan and - our favourite - attempt to somehow transform a hideous Korean people-carrier into a luxury yacht.

Cars appearing in the series will include the Ford GT, the new twin-turbo V12-engined Aston Martin DB11, the Bugatti Chiron and the 1,036bhp Ferarri FXX K. And some kind of terrifying 8-wheel all-terrainer from Russia.

There's not long to wait now: the new series kicks off on Sunday 5 March at 8pm on BBC Two.

Over 33 million people tuned in for series 23 last year - can the boys top that? Of course they can.
