The first Pokémon Go event of 2017 is live in the UK now, having kicked in just after 7pm last night - and Londoners haven't been able to move for Porygon since.
The Valentine's Day event - which everyone hoped would include the Gen 2 Pokémon - is a pink-themed love-in, with increased spawns for Chansey, Clefable and other pinkish 'mon, including our favourite polygonal duck-thing. There's also an increased chance of hatching an ad-aww-able baby Igglybuff, Cleffa or Smoochum from an egg.
Until 7pm UK time on the 15th of February, you'll also get twice the candy for hatching, catching and ditching your little dudes, while your chosen buddy 'mon will find candy twice as often. Until the end of the event, lures will last an impressive six hours instead of 30 minutes, so you can cover your locale with fluttery pink hearts. Aww.
Of course, all of this assumes you haven't broken up with Pokémon Go already, either through boredom or frustration. But if you're anything like us, the latest event will give your geeky heart something to really sing about this Valentine's Day.
