Samsung Galaxy S8: UK Release Date, Price, and Where To Get It

Finally, the S8 and S8+! The phone will finally hit the shops on 28th April - but pre-orders are available from today. If you pre-order today, you'll get your phone a week earlier - on April 20th. At launch only two colour variants will be available: Midnight Black and Orchid Grey - though Samsung says Arctic Silver could be added "in due course".

In the UK, the S8 will cost £689 without a contract - and the S8+ will cost £779.

But where to get it? Here's all of the details we've been sent by UK retailers so far:

Carphone Warehouse

"Carphone Warehouse are offering up to £170 pounds when consumers trade-in an old Samsung Galaxy, plus a free Samsung wireless speaker worth £99.99 with every pre-order. £689.88 / £779.99"

Three

"Three is ranging both the midnight black and the orchid grey colours for both devices. If you pre-order either device you will receive it eight days prior to its official launch.

Both are available on various 24 month contracts but here are a few:

Virgin Mobile

"Virgin Mobile will be offering a range of plans for the S8 including a cracking 2GB plan for £48 per month* with no upfront cost. To make the deal even sweeter, Virgin Mobile is giving away a 64GB SD card with all pre-orders of the Samsung Galaxy S8 and S8+ doubling storage on the device.

Existing Virgin Mobile customers can upgrade to the S8 early by trading in their current phone with Freestyle Trade Up. As well as an early upgrade, Virgin Mobile is also giving existing customers a £50 Amazon voucher when they Trade Up to the Samsung Galaxy S8.

Alternatively, for just five pounds more per month, the Samsung Galaxy S8 is available for free on a £60.99 per month, 24 month 4GEE Max plan for existing EE customers, and comes with 7GB of data. Meanwhile the Samsung Galaxy S8+ is £65.99 per month with 15GB of data on a 24 month 4GEE Max plan."

"The long-awaited flagship will be available on a range of O2 Refresh tariffs, offering perks that include the coveted Yearly Upgrade Programme, a free JBL Flip 4 speaker worth £119.99, up to 50GB data and even free music streaming."
