The government has just announced that Theresa May will trigger Article 50 next Wednesday, the 29th of March, which will swing the UK's exit from the EU into action.
It's going to be a big news day, as the Samsung Galaxy S8 also launches on the 29th. There'll be a lot of attention on the Korean firm after the arrest of its leader, not to mention the Note 7 disaster.
Reactions to both announcements are likely to be mixed, with the Brexit/Remain divide still as apparent as it was at the time of the referendum, and the Android/iPhone war still fiercely fought. That said, there's definitely more excitement around the Samsung announcement than Article 50 – mainly because there are more chances of Brexit going down in flames than another Samsung phone.
