There are a whopping three Marvel movies coming out this year, and with the release dates for Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 and Spider-Man: Homecoming drawing ever closer, Marvel's lifted the curtain to give us our first proper look at Thor Ragnarok. And all to the tune of Led Zeppelin's Immigrant Song to boot.
Well, Thor, how did all this happen? That is an awful lot to take in, and yet, unlike the many trailers for Spider-Man, I have no idea the general plot of this film is going to be. It's got bits of Planet Hulk, Mjolnir disintegrating in a storm of electricity, Dr Strange fits in there for at least one scene, and they have to deal with the whole Loki-usurping-Odin thing from the end of the last film.
Also Ragnarok fits into the overarching plot somehow. I think.
Still this film looks hella fun. Except for Hela. She is decidedly not fun, given how it looks like she's trying to bring about the end of the world and everything. It'll hit UK cinemas on 27th October.
