Great news for League of Gentlemen fans: it's coming back.
Mark Gatiss, who both writes for and stars in the show, tweeted Duncan Jones – movie director and Son Of Bowie – to say there's an anniversary special on the way.
Hi @ManMadeMoon Thanks so much for your kind words Big fan. You may be pleased to know that we're planning a 'League' anniversary special!

Fellow writer and show star Reece Shearsmith jumped in to confirm:

The BBC reports that the show was originally broadcast between 1999 and 2002, but that was preceded by a radio show in 1997, so if they're going for the 10-year anniversary of the whole thing, the special could be this year.
Are we ready to go back to Royston Vasey? The locals certainly hope not. [BBC]
