Drugs are bad, mkay. You shouldn't do drugs, mkay, and that about wraps up my introduction. Mkay.
Well if you are doing drugs, specifically cocaine, you have another thing to worry about. Most of the time cocaine is cut with other things meaning what people ending snorting is far from pure. Now, though, police in Eastbourne are warning that some street coke is 100 per cent pure, and that's not a good thing.
Now drugs in any form are generally quite bad for you, but 100 per cent pure cocaine? That's extra deadly, and is being blamed for at least two drug-related deaths in Eastbourne. Reports from Global Drug Survey in 2015 suggest that drug purity is on the rise thanks to darkweb dealers competing with one another to delivery the highest quality product. While that might seem like a good thing for users, finding yourself unwittingly taking an extra high dose is not going to do you any favours.
Eastbourne police have warned against using drugs, especially when users don't know how pure they are, and have promised they will investigate any overdoses or drug-related deaths in order to prosecute those responsible.
So if you're going to ignore the advice of everyone around you, make sure your next line isn't going to be your last. And while you're at it, make sure you don't end up getting Winstoned. [Eastbourne Herald via Metro]
