Banksy has had another idea for something to do! But this isn't art about capitalism or saying bombs are bad in a clever way on an old warehouse, it's much more boring than that. He's decided to cancel his anti-Tory free print campaign after the Electoral Commission told him that it might make the election result invalid.
The poor old maverick street artist had to edit the html of his web site to add a sort-of apology, which reads: "I have been warned by the Electoral Commission that the free print offer will invalidate the election result. So I regret to announce this ill-conceived and legally dubious promotion has now been cancelled."
Maybe he can take out his frustration by stencilling an image of Theresa May eating a baby and pooing out a bomb into the hands of a Saudi prince on the side of a shop? That one's for free. [Banksy via BBC]
