London's Night Overground Extends to Highbury & Islington Tonight

By Tom Pritchard on at

Getting around London at night is a lot easier now that some of the Under and Overground services run through the night, with TfL and Sadiq Khan working to ensure more services are open 24 hours a day. Tonight the latest extension of the Overground's night services goes live, meaning people can travel through to Highbury & Islington.

Crucially the new extension also means the Night Overground will connect to the Night Tube on the Victoria Line, which TfL promises will make it much easier to travel to north and east London during the night. It also claims that the extension will make life a lot easier for night shift workers, including those working in the emergency services, as well as people enjoying Islington's vibrant nightlife.

A full map of TfL's Night Tube and Overground services is available to view here, and you can read more more about the Night Overground services on its website.
