Film director Danny Boyle is moving perilously close to winning full National Treasure status, with his reputation about to be further boosted by an association with the most legendary Brit of all — James Bond.
Boyle himself confirmed that he's landed the job of getting a sulking Daniel Craig through another tiresome few rooftop sequences, motorbike stunts and helicopter crashes, with the director telling Metro US that: "We are working on a script right now. And it all depends on that really. I am working on a Richard Curtis script at the moment. We hope to start shooting that in 6 or 7 weeks. Then Bond would be right at the end of the year. But we are working on them both right now."
He also said that John Hodge is contributing to the writing of the future Bond instalment, with Hodge being one of Boyle's long-term writing partners, going all the way back to the likes of Shallow Grave and Trainspotting. [Metro via Digital Spy]
