Monty Python is Coming to Netflix Next Month

By Tom Pritchard on at

The sextext known only as 'Monty Python' is responsible for some of the best British comedy ever made, whether that be on TV, film, or stage. While their time as a group is now over, it's about to become a lot easier to enjoy their collected works at home. Because pretty much everything they've done is coming to Netflix in the UK on 15th April.

Note that I said "pretty much", because The Meaning of Life and Live at the Hollywood Bowl aren't mentioned for some reason.

However, we will be getting every episode of Monty Python's Flying CircusMonty Python's Fliegender Zirkus (the German version which had two new 45 minute episodes), Holy Grail, Life of Brian, Monty Python’s Personal Best, Monty Python Best Bits (mostly), Monty Python Live (mostly): One Down, Five to Go, Monty Python Conquers America, The Meaning of Monty Python, and TV documentary Monty Python: The Meaning of Live.

And you thought the fact a whole load of BBC content seems to be leaving Netflix at the end of the month meant the service was dead. Well it turns out it really was just resting, ready to pine for the fjords in less than a month's time. [Monty Python]
