Bakery chain Greggs has achieved another sensational first today, with the opening of its first underground branch within the concrete halls of London's Westminster tube station.
This morning's Westminster Greggs opening was attended by many of the high-brow political nerds who function in the area, with opinions on the appearance of the convenience chain ranging from "Great! Cheap warm food!" to long-winded rants about the rise in obesity and how it's all the fault of readily available warm meaty pastry.
They seem to have missed a trick by keeping the prices the same as other branches, though. Anyone rolling off a train at Westminster with a hangover at 8:00am would surely pay at least £4 for a sausage roll. [Twitter]
