Top Gear's Been Messing With Madame Tussauds Visitors, With Some Help From The Stig

By Tom Pritchard on at

Madame Tussauds is full of pretty life-like recreations of famous people, but recent guests found that one of them was a little bit too life like. Some say he's actually an advanced automaton from the future, and that he's only able to speak through a car radio. All we know is he's called The Stig.

The real Stig too. Rather than trying to have a wax model of the tame racing driver put on display, Top Gear just sent the real Stig to stand around waiting for admiring guests. If there's one thing the Stig is good at, other than driving cars, it's standing completely motionless for periods of time. In theory, at least.

As you can see from the video, The Stig couldn't quite help himself and regularly moved around as guests posed for pictures. They had no idea it was the real deal, and that was a bit of a fright. It must be quite boring having to stand next to a fake version of Lewis Hamilton all day, when you know you're a significantly better driver than him.
