Bullets Wireless are OnePlus's Bluetooth Earbuds, But They're Not Jumping on the Wire-Free Bandwagon

Today is the day OnePlus launches the OnePlus 6, the latest in its line of budget premium-tier smartphones. It's also got other products in the pipeline, and they've just announced that a new set of wireless earbuds are on the way. But unlike Apple, Samsung, Sony, and countless other companies, OnePlus isn't going down the zero-wire route.

The Bullets Wireless are Bluetooth earbuds, but they take the same design as 'sport' headphones with a wire running between both your ears. That wire holds the battery pack that rests on your neck, and is stretch resistant to handle some of the torture you can throw at them. The key feature of the Bullets is that the earbuds themselves are magnetic, meaning you can clip them together to turn the earbuds off. Pulling them apart will turn them back on, and OnePlus promises the audio will resume automatically. They'll also switch off regardless, if they detect there's been more than five minutes of inactivity.

The sport-style design also means OnePlus can put a larger battery inside, powered by USB-C. According to OnePlus, if you use the company's Dash Charge feature you only need to plug them in for ten minutes to get five hours of power. It also means they won't fall out and get lost.

The Bullets earbuds also have energy tubes built in to prevent reverberations, and offers better audio quality. They're also coming bundled with deep bass, an secure ergonomic design that offers a snug fit without causing any discomfort, sweat resistance, and Google Assistant integration. They're compatible with the OnePlus 5, OnePlus 5T, and of course the OnePlus 6.

They're cost £69 which is a great price, but also $69 and €69 which is less cool. They'll be released on 5th June.
