Samsung Just Announced New Galaxy S9 Colours, Which Arrive in the UK Next Month

By Tom Pritchard on at

Back when Samsung released the Galaxy S9, there were only four colours available in total - only three of which were available here in the UK. If you don't like Black, Blue, or Purple, you were basically out of luck. If that was the only thing putting you off, then you'll be happy to hear that Samsung has just announced it's bringing Titanium Grey handsets to the UK, alongside the brand new 'Sunrise Gold'.

Both colours will be available to order from 22nd June in both S9 and S9+ form, and will actually start shipping out right at the end of the month on 29th. Initially Titanium Grey will be exclusive to Carphone Warehouse and Sunrise Gold to EE, but Samsung has confirmed they will be available elsewhere (including the Samsung website) on 24th August. Coincidentally IFA kicks off in Berlin a week later, which is around the time Samsung is expected to unveil the Galaxy Note 9. Coincidence? Probably.

According to Samsung Sunrise Gold is the first device it's made that has a satin gloss finish, which helps create a "feeling of both vibrancy and calm". Well alright then, if you say so. There's also a Burgundy Red version launching this month, but that's currently exclusive to China and Korea.
