When the OnePlus 6 was announced, the company announced it would be available in three colours (mirror black, black, and white) - suspiciously leaving out the red hue that had been rumoured for so long. That red phone hadn't been forgotten, and last Monday OnePlus announced that it would be arriving at 9am on 10th July. In case you hadn't noticed, that's today.
The Red OnePlus 6 doesn't have a fancy name like the other models, with OnePlus keeping things simple and calling it OnePlus 6 Red. Like the Silk White model it will come with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of storage, for the same £519 price as all the other 8/128GB variants. The only downside is that it's only available in limited numbers. We don't know how many are being made, but since the Silk White initially sold out in less than 24 hours anyone with their heart set on the Red OnePlus 6 should get their order in pronto.
I emailed O2, the only network to carry the OnePlus 6, last week, to see if it would be stocking the Red OnePlus 6 and got no response. There's no mention of it on the O2 website at the time of writing, so I wouldn't recommend relying on that particular Plan B.
Today's also the day OnePlus will be restocking the Bullets Wireless earphones, which cost £69. There's no set time on when they'll reappear, so if they're not there already you're just going to have to wait until 9am. Or order them from O2, which does have them in stock.
Both the Red OnePlus 6 and the Bullets Wireless earphones are available on the OnePlus store, though don't be surprised if the site is a bit overwhelmed with traffic once the phone goes on sale. Just be patient and you'll get your phone.
